1989 Topps Major League Debut #98: Marty Pevey

STAT: Pevey had only 2 extra-base hits in his career, but at least he drove in a run and scored a run in both of those games. The Expos went 6-5 in the 11 games that Pevey started.

  1. Met this guy in the late nineties when he was managing the Jays' low-A team. Had him sign his only 2 major league cards. He was really nice and acted like he was the happiest guy on earth to be coaching in the low minors. He eventually worked his way all the way up to the Jays' major league coaching staff before getting canned with some other coaches mid-season 2008. I'm sure he landed somewhere in the minors. Wish the best for him.
